The FINANCIAL -- The deal struck late Monday by euro-zone finance ministers on a new bailout for Greece is undeniable proof of the will to keep the euro zone together, Spanish Finance Minister Luis de Guindos said Tuesday.

According to London Stock Exchange, the agreement shows "there is a strong defense of the euro, that the euro is important for all of us," De Guindos said on arriving for a second day of talks, this time in the broader European Union council, which also involves non-euro members.

De Guindos stressed that Spain's problems, which were reflected in a sharp drop in gross domestic product in the fourth quarter of last year, are of a completely different magnitude to Greece's.
